Wonderful location, Setting is located away from noise of vehicle traffic. Close to community and school bus routes. Pet friendly . Great swimming pools both inside and outdoor in summer. Friendly management and web site. Monthly community newsletter. Great club house for residents. Safe for children. Buildings are showing signs of wear. Water and gas bills are averaged according to the buildings and shared by all residents. This is helpful for winter heating costs. However, Plumbing leaks are contributing to high water bills, particularly for singles. Some roof and ceiling leaks. Over all quiet and peaceful setting.

Management is professional and easy to communicate with. Generally peaceful community with a mix of ethnic backgrounds. Maintenance is friendly. The landscape is pretty. Very nice patios w/ new fences. Children seem to be happy with the family setting. The buildings (70's?) are showing some signs of wear. Plumbing and roof leaks are noticeable, but age related. Water rate averaging policy added to rent is very high for singles, some couples. Expect a liberal pet policy and carpet wear. I have lived here for many years, it is a peaceful and convenient place to live. An overall great place for people of all ages.

The units are nice and big, the rent is competitive for this area and parking is always safe and secure.

We have lived here for less than a month, but thus far my wife and I are enjoying it very much. The atmosphere is more like living in a home than in an apartment. We are enjoying the spacious accomodations of the town home and the fact that the apartments are very close to shopping and dining areas. We like living in this area and LaFontenay has been a good choice for us.

It's quiet and well maintained. Close to several shopping areas and restaurants.

Great location, people are like family and very friendly. I just get frustrated because hot tub has only worked a few times in 3 months. I have actually referred people looking for apartments here though. Overall, good place - just don't like to be lead on about hot tub situation.

I love it. The apts are old, but there is a lot of interior space> the only other negative is that there is close to no cabinet space in the kitchen. Other than that, i think the staff is very nice and my neighbors are as well.

We have enjoy our new apartment tremendously. It is very spacious with no problems we have experienced from other apartments we have rented. The greenery and wildlife makes it a plus to us cause it takes away from the stress of city living.
